This is an annual opportunity for the public to wander through 43,000sq. ft. of the Art Center and visit professional artist's in their studios, watch demonstrations, visit furniture makers and purchase one-of-a-kind works directly from the artist. "Although we routinely give tours to groups, including high schools and universities , this gives others a chance to see an artist in their working environment and stop and ask questions" says owner Rip Potter, "and they can purchase one-of-a-kind items made by the artists they meet." ~Free Improv and theatre classes will be offered each day at Blank Stage Theatre Studio C-1. ~ An award winning documentary produced about the center will run during the November ARC Open Studio at Blank Stage, Suite C-1, contact: Brent Brooks blankstage24@yahoo.com 404- 217-6903 ~Lampworking demonstrations at Beads by Design through out the event ~Portrait sketches in charcoal by Archen through out event. ~Woodturning demonstrations at Nick Cook Woodturner through out event |
