For nearly 20 years the Artisan Resource Center in Marietta has welcomed thousands of people who come to visit the studios and galleries during Open House. Along with the 17 professional artists studios that will open for this annual event, highlights include: ~Kennesaw State University students will have a juried exhibit at the November show at Cathryn Miles Gallery, suite "F-2" . Jury panel will be composed of Kennesaw State University art faculty and professional artists. ~ Blank Stage (C-1)gives a taste of ther Holiday theater season with a free performance rehearsal Friday evening. ~ARC Documetary to be screened on Friday night ~Colonial Stained glass (H) will have demos on how to create stained glass panels, mosaics and glass fusing. ~New artists include: Colonial Stained Glass; studio H, Blank Stage ;Studio C-1 2006 Participating artists: AFX Studios, N, Special effects, Sculpture Art DeWale, K, Painting Beads by Design, L, Flame-worked glass bead making, Jewelry, Bead weaving Blank Stage, C-1, Improv Theater / Film Production Nick Cook, I, Wood-Turning Colonial Stained Glass, H, demos on stained glass panels, mosaics, glass fusing.
